CADS Planner Profile
An efficient tool for designing aluminium and steel profile structures.
The CADS Planner Profile design system is an open system developed for designing aluminium and steel structured doors, windows, glass walls, balcony rails and façade solutions.
The Profile system creates the front views, sections, parts lists and cut-off lists of the profile structures efficiently. Cut-off lists can be optimised with the optimisation functions of the Profile system and project specifically as well when necessary.
Complete profile data lists.
The CADS Planner Profile is developed in cooperation with the Finnish profile manufacturers and importers. It includes complete profile data lists by Purso, Nordic Aluminium, Forster and Jansen. The Profile system is open in its structure. It is not tied to the profiles of individual manufacturers, but the user can add profiles there as well.
Automated drawing production.
The CADS Planner Profile system has several complete basic structure solutions with which the production of drawings is even faster than before. The structures have been thought out beforehand in cooperation with profile manufacturers, so you as the user only have to stretch the structure to the correct size and add the desired glasses, panels and fittings. The system will automatically produce vertical and horizontal cross-section views from the front view. The glass and panel parts are added to the drawing by pointing out a hole, after which the system will dimension the part and select the correct glazing beads according to the thickness of the glass. In addition to the basic solutions, the software includes complete tools for drawing individual profiles and profile combinations. Therefore, the software is excellently applicable for designing all kinds of profile structures.
Automatically produced cut-off lists.
Cut-off lists can be generated automatically from the front views created with the CADS Planner Profile, which can be used in relation to the lengths and cut-off angles as work definitions. Project-specific cut-off lists can be compiled into a summary list where the system will collect the profiles of the selected list files. The Profile system also includes profile optimisation as a default. It can also produce graphical glass lists and part lists from a drawing and price the profile structures with the help of separate profile manufacturer-specific price lists.
Includes complete CAD software.
The CADS Planner Profile design system always includes complete CADS Planner basic software as well. Thus, other documents, for example, structural details, can be produced with the software as well.
