Rasta
Using and processing bitmap images
![]() |
Rasta is a program that enables the use of bitmap drawings in CADS Planner software. With this software you can generate hybrid drawings where a scanned drawing is combined with a CAD-created vector drawing. Rasta includes diverse tools for creating and processing bitmap images. |

Possibility to use paper drawings
The possibility to use old drawings on paper/transparent first and foremost in refurbishing projects accelerates and facilitates the whole design process. Rasta provides an opportunity to load and further process a scanned file (e.g. the architectural drawing of a building) in CADS Planner software.
Support for over 20 bitmap file formats
Rasta supports bitmap image files in different formats. It can work with over 20 bitmap formats, including TIFF, BMP, CALS and JPEG. In addition to that, Rasta provides support for different ways of compression. For example, you can store a drawing scanned at a copying service as a compressed file in different types of TIFF format, including Pack Bits, Modified Huffman, Group III and IV as well as JPEG.
Diverse image processing tools
Rasta is more than just a bitmap image loading program. It comprises diverse tools for processing bitmap images. For example, you can sharpen, rotate or scale an image, if you want to specify suitable measurements to it before beginning with CAD design. Besides that an image can also be moved and corrected. Correction is used for eliminating distortions generated from scanning. This action also enables rotating a bitmap image into an axonometric view. In addition to that, you can also remove useless parts from the bitmap image for that mark the wanted area with points and wipe it away. The reflection feature renders it possible to reflect an image scanned from the opposite side of a transparent, so it is displayed correctly.
